Verses on guidance and knowledge

وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

“And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”

Ta-Ha 20:114

هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

“Can those with knowledge be compared with those who lack it?”

Az-Zumar 39:9

إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ

“Among Allah’s servants, only those with knowledge truly fear Him.”

Fatir 35:28

إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا

“This Quran leads to the most upright way and brings believers who do righteous deeds the good news of a magnificent reward.”

Al-Isra 17:9

كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ

“A blessed Book which We have revealed so that they might reflect upon its verses.”

Sad 38:29

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

“And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?”

Al-Qamar 54:17

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ

“Indeed, it is We who sent down the Quran and indeed, We will be its guardian.”

Al-Hijr 15:9

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا

“Our Lord, bestow mercy upon us from Your presence and guide our affair toward what is right.”

Al-Kahf 18:10
