Verses on prayer and dhikr

فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ

“Be mindful of Me, and I shall keep you in mind.”

Al-Baqarah 2:152

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا

“O you who believe, remember Allah with much remembrance.”

Al-Ahzab 33:41

اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ

“Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer.”

Al-Ankabut 29:45

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ

“O you who believe, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord.”

Al-Hajj 22:77

ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ

“Pray to Me, and I shall answer you.”

Ghafir 40:60

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ

“And when My servants ask you about Me — indeed I am near.”

Al-Baqarah 2:186

تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا

“Their sides forsake their beds as they supplicate their Lord in fear and hope.”

As-Sajdah 32:16

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ

“The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts tremble.”

Al-Anfal 8:2

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

“You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.”

Al-Fatihah 1:5

فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ

“In houses which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His name be mentioned therein.”
